The world needs new solutions to feed a growing global population in a sustainable way. Kehongda researchs into high-efficiency and environmental solutions for the growth of corps,  that can help farmers meet that need.

The UN estimates that the world population will grow to 9 billion by 2050. To meet this demand, farmers will need to produce more food in the next 40 years than they did in the last 10,000 combined. But with around 12% percent of the world’s land area already used for crop production, and much of the remaining suitable land part of urban areas, covered by forests, or protected for environmental reasons the potential for sustainable agricultural expansion is very limited.
